This is one gorgeous beer. Weyerbacher takes their Blithering Idiot Barleywine and ages it in whiskey barrels imparting additional levels of complexity by adding a combination of vanilla, oak and whiskey notes.

Dogfish Head Immort Ale … 11% abv … Delaware
Utilizing maple syrup from Red Brook Farm, peat-smoked barley and vanilla Immort is fermented with a blend of English and Belgian yeasts, then aged in the big oak tanks at the brewery.

Weyerbacher Mellow Monks … 4.5% abv … Pennsylvania

We aged our golden sour in stainless and added 300 lbs of Rhubarb and 35 Mexican vanilla beans! What results is an alluring blend of juicy and tart rhubarb with a nice sweet/smoky kick of vanilla.

Three German styles in one! First a standard Kolsch with lots of wheat and Munich Malt, then Gose with black limes, coriander and our sea salt. Followed by a citrusy-tart Berlinerweiss made with lime juice and lime peel.

Founders Green Zebra … 4.6% abv… MICHIGAN
Salty, subtly sour and a little sweet watermelon, is the star of this lightly-hopped treat and gives it a hint of tart juiciness. The soft mouthfeel and dry finish is thanks to the addition of sea salt.

A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity.

Grisette was traditionally brewed to quench the thirst of the men laboring with pick and shovel in the mines. This straw colored wheat based saison adds grapefruit and pink peppercorn for a fresh citrus grapefruit finish.

Verhaeghe Duchesse de Bourgogne … 6.2% abv … Belgium
The traditional top fermented reddish-brown ale from the West-Flanders region of Belgium. A blend of 8 and 18 months old ales following careful maturation in oak casks. 100% natural and unpasteurized.

St. Dekkera Reserve Flanders Oud Bruin … 7.2% abv … Illinois
Presented by Destihl Brewing, this Belgian-style Flanders Oud Bruin was aged for over 2 years in old oak Heaven Hill bourbon barrel. Spontaneous second fermentation and aging with Lacto, Pedio, and Brett.

Brewery Vivant Tower of Sour … 7.3% abv … MICHIGAN
The tower we refer to here is a 40-barrel French oak foeder. Aged for six months in oak, this malty ale presents a subtle chocolate, coffee roastiness, but has taken on a distinctly sour character from the wild yeast.

Une Année Ouais … 5.5% abv… Illinois
This unfruited 30% malted wheat beer is the base for several Une Année brews. Including the Le Seul series sours. Stainless steel fermented with wild yeast and bacteria. Nice and Tart throughout.
